Well it's Friday night at nearly 9 p.m., and we've been home all night. Yes, that means we did NOT eat dinner out tonight. We spent most of the afternoon today out at the Goldfield Ghost Town, which you'll see in the photos below.
I also spent a good chunk of the morning doing work stuff. Got a couple of projects done, and finished up a news release about my company's new website, then distributed that. Best of all, though, I met with a gal who hired my company to do a lot of different PR-type work over the next couple of months and quite possibly more work into the future. Our newest client is the Phoenix International School of Law, based in Scottsdale (about a 30 minute drive from where we are). We'll be desigining ads, making media contacts, writing news releases, building a comprehensive media list of the state's media and select national media, and much more. It's very exciting news for us!
We also received good news about my nephew Trenton today. He won his sports letter in wrestling during his first year! He's a sixth grader and has been getting really active in a lot of things at school. He's in two school bands (playing saxophone and clarinet), he played sixth grade football this fall, and most recently, he wrestled. Anyway, I thought it was exciting that he got his letter in his first season.
This weekend, I'll get several ad drafts finished up for PhoenixLaw, and yes tomorrow night we'll probably go out to dinner . . . quite possibly at El Torito. I think early in the week, we'll probably make a day trip up to Prescott. Should be fun. But there's also work to be done, so we'll be taking care of that, too.

Congrats on the new client! Sounds like you've got some good projects to work on.
Glad you're getting to see some of the sights. That's very interesting country. Obviously much different than home.
