This is the travel diary of our "snowbird" winter in Arizona. We'll try our best to update this every day along to keep our friends and family updated on our lives.

Dawn

Hi everyone. Well, we are in Mesa now. We really like our rv park. We'll be here for 1 month. We went for a walk this evening, to check out some of the things here. It is huge. We were happy to see a putting green and a golf swing net thing right next to one of the laundry rooms, so we can practice our golf while we're waiting for our laundry. We walked by a couple of beautiful swimming pools and 4 hot tubs. There were a bunch of people playing shuffleboard. They were lit up at night. There was a lot more of the park we didn't get to tonight. We'll try to see the rest tomorrow. It was a beautiful evening for a walk.

We love our new rv. It's amazing what a difference a little bit more room can make. We explored Mesa a little today. I must admit we do like Mesa better this time through than the impression that we had of it last time. We've gone off the main street now, and there is a lot more out there.

Nelson's watching the Rose Bowl on tv right now. So he's happy. And I finally got my turn on the computer. We do have high speed now (which is great), but we can still only be on one at a time. I suppose if we wanted to pay another $30.00 per month I could go on at the same time, but I don't want to do that, I'm cheap.

Steph said the river is going down a little, so that's good. She sent us a picture and it was pretty high, and flooding in Longview I think we heard. That's a little scarry with a house on the river.

That's all for now. Bye.
