These are pictures of the re-enactment of the day Tucson's "small town cops" actually caught the great John Dillinger and his bank robbery gang. Despite the fact that Dillinger and his boys were able to elude the FBI for years, the Tucson police actually caught them. Every year in Tucson, they set aside a Saturday to remember the event. It's known as Dillinger Days (even though it's just one day). We had fun at this event, which a Tucson native told us they keep low key every year. We couldn't figure out why. It'd be a great tourism event!
