Wow…the holidays sure have a way of throwing one off schedule. It’s been a long time since I’ve posted to the blog, more than just a little bit.
Since Thanksgiving, we’ve been pretty busy. On Thanksgiving Day, Dawn and I had a great dinner with Brooke, Luka and his dad Cello at the kids’ place in L.A. Luka made three of his favorite dishes for us, a steak (my personal favorite), a chicken dish and ravioli. All of the grub was fantastic. It wasn’t exactly our traditional Thanksgiving meal, but it was really nice. On Friday, we all drove out to Dawn’s cousin Mike’s house where we enjoyed a traditional dinner with Mike and his family (wife Tannie and daughter Sophia), as well as Dawn’s Aunt Sandy and Uncle Ernie (Mike’s parents), and a couple of Mike and Tannie’s friends and their daughter. My work continues first thing tomorrow morning. I’ll be working on a major presentation that I’ll be giving on December 5, pitching my business and its services to a group of utility folks. I’m also working on a re-design of my company’s website, which we’ll gradually change as time goes by over the next few months. No major hurry, but I do want to get the new logo and colors on our site as soon as we can, so that part is underway. I have a newsletter for one client that needs to get finished up, too…and some invoicing that should get done and shipped out soon.
