It's Thanksgiving. I miss Steph alot today, but I just talked to her on the phone and she has plenty to do today. One of her friend's mom is having a Thanksgiving dinner for the kids that work at Who-songs that don't have relatives nearby. She's looking forward to being an Orphan...well a wannabe orphan, since her Uncle Todd is having a get together with Craig's side of the family and her dad is in town and Judie and Jim invited her there. But I think she's having fun with the whole orphan thing today. But thanks everyone for thinking about her.
We are having a non-traditinal Thanksgiving today. Brooke and Luka are cooking a couple of there specialties and Cello, Luka's dad will be here. Tomorrow we're getting together with my side of the family in Ventura for a family dinner.
Nelson and I went to our first laundromat yesterday. It was kind of fun. While we were trying to waste time we walked next door to Goodwill and Nelson got a couple of golf clubs that he didn't have for $1.99 ea. And I got an Eddie Bauer blouse. I love good deals!
Sitting in the laundromat gave me this huge urge to be reading a Star magazine, lol. Laundromats and Star magazine seem to go hand in hand. So we went to Walgren's and bought one.
Nelson dropped me off at Brooke's office. Then Brooke and I went grocery shopping for today and then we went to see "Pride and Prejudice", which was very good. The guys wanted to go golfing, but they couldn't make it there in time.
It is kind of wierd to see sunshine and people watering their lawns on Thanksgiving.
That's all for now. Hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving.
