Dawn

Well, lets see. I haven’t written for a couple of days. We have been so busy. We did end up going to Mendocino yesterday. It was an adorable little town. I’m not sure if it was worth the windy scary roads to get there (Lois’ fault, lol) but now that it’s all behind us I’m glad that we did see it.

We went on to San Francisco later that day. We met Emmy for dinner last night and that was fun, but none of my pictures that I took turned out, so that sucks.

We went to Alcatraz today. Nelson had never been there before. It was really neat. Yes, I wore a hat. After we got off of the Ferry, we walked over to Hard Rock Café and had a beer. Absolutely beautiful weather. It couldn’t have been more perfect. We are now getting ready to meet Nelson’s relatives for dinner. His Aunt Lois and Uncle Steve and cousins Denise, Todd and Jack.

Next day…
We had a great time at dinner. Little Jack is so adorable. Nelson’s family have all welcomed me into their family with open arms. Very nice people.

We are about to head further South on 101 today. Probably try to make it half way to L.A. today and on to Brooke’s tomorrow.
