This is the travel diary of our "snowbird" winter in Arizona. We'll try our best to update this every day along to keep our friends and family updated on our lives.

Dawn

I golfed...I sucked...I had fun. Every muscle in my body is sore today, but it really was fun. Nelson, kept trying to cheat, but I wouldn't let him. I shot an 85 and Nelson shot a 92. If Nelson didn't like his first shot he would do it over...that's cheating if you ask me. He did have to obey the "texas rules" a couple of times...( not really). I just learned about that, does anyone else know what that means? Or was Nelson just making that up? One time Nelson took like five swings off the tee because his ball kept going in the bushes, and he said he didn't have to count any of those as swings, is that right? Or was he cheating again? I thought it would be fun to have a beer on the course, just because it sounded cool. But they didn't have a liquor license, so I'll have to be cool next time.

Dennis Rodman was at the Thursday night street fair in downtown Palm Springs last night, signing his new book, but we didn't go.

Brian, you will be happy to know that Nelson did not attack any part of his body yesterday. And that was very nice of you to invite him to dinner last week, thank you.

Troy, I love your comments. I think you should be a comedian. I love the one about the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. I didn't even think of that until you said that, but it is so true.

That's all that's been exciting around here. I'm very excited to see Stephanie next week for Christmas. I haven't seen her since I left.

Oh ya, one more thing...about the golf score above... I guess I forgot to mention one small detail...
I quit playing after thirteen holes ( I was tired). That might have had something to do with my score, ya think?

Bye.
